GGod and I in this beautiful world!
He speaks and I hear
I speak and He hears
He cares I’m absolutely sure
For He feeds me everyday
with His presence
and daily word.
What a gift it is to know God!
What a gift it is to know
that He knows me!
Last night, when I opened the Bible, God was waiting to talk to me!

Have you ever felt so insignificant that you’ve wondered whether your presence her on earth matters to anyone? You haven’t invented anything, haven’t discovered anything, haven’t developed anything. So what’s the significance of your life? Where do you fit into the unfolding drama of salvation? Even the thief on the cross had a place where he fit. Even he had a line to speak.
We each have a moment on the stage of life – a moment that may consist of several years of several decades. If you had one line to speak on that stage, what would you want that line to be?
I feel so privileged to have a part to play in the larger story of salvation…
Give me the strength to say my lines with grace and dignity. So that the wondrous play can go on, and so that paradise might be fuller because I played my part, said my lines, and exited quietly.
Thank you for my name. As I say it aloud, whisper to me what you think of the person who bears it…
When I wondered what that line would be, dear Holy Spirit spoke from within me. Not immediately. Not when I was sitting with the Bible in front of me. Not when I kept thinking about it. When my head hit the pillow, He was ready to give me the answer.
He whispered to me, His thoughts about me.
When a commander issues an order and you’ve got to follow that. But a leader sees your true potential and draws out the truth that lives inside of you. Jesus is not just a leader, He is the creator and He comes to draw out the life giving water that resides within man.
Who am I? That’s the eternal question. All the tags that I carry on earth can’t come with me to Heaven to define me.
Grace and peace is multiplied by the knowledge of Christ. That is the treasure that I carry. That is the treasure that the enemy can’t steal, kill and destroy. I carry that eternal treasure in this earthen vessel. When I meet my maker, I shall not be put to shame by the accuser, nor will I put HIM to shame.
For His truth will define me.
I am good. That’s not because of my ‘good actions.’ I am good because God created me and whatever God created, He called it good. So, I am good.
So are you. You are not a by-product of your actions. God is good and He makes only good things.
I am holy. Again not because of what I do to keep myself holy, but because of what He is within me. How can a man who walks on earth/dust, be holy? Dust will contaminate the feet. But a man who walks with God, who has God as His friend, who has God living inside of Him can’t be contaminated by the dust of the earth. The dust can only touch the feet, not the spirit. And the word will cleanse that away daily.
A temple is not holy because of man’s workmanship. It is the presence of God living inside that makes a temple holy. The moment I invite God to come inside, I am holy just as He is. I can’t grow in purity or holiness. How can gold become better than what it is? I can only grow in my awareness of what I am.
When I am aware of God’s presence and holiness, I grow in my awareness of how holy I am. That means set apart, unique and uncommon like God.
There is no one like Him. There’s no one like me. For I am fearfully and wonderfully made with my own unique iris and fingerprint.
(This is how God speaks to me. This is how God will speak to you if you quieten yourself and allow Him to talk. You can’t hear God when you are speaking all the time.)
In the throne room of God, a place where all of creation gathers to hear God’s judgement, God wants man to SPEAK.Death and life are in the power of the tongue.
“How do you plead?” asks the judge.
“I plead guilty, Your Honor.”
That’s all man can say when He faces God. Who is worthy of entering heaven? No one who is made of dust.
But when God reveals the truth about man’s origin, he realizes he is made of gold and not dust. Dust can touch the flesh but it can’t touch the spirit. The real me is always pure gold. Just as how gold is found deep within the uttermost depths of earth, the spirit lives inside man.
Therefore now in heaven, when I stand in front of all creation, in the presence of God and His angels; in front of the holy cloud of witnesses – the ones who’ve gone ahead of me; and in front of Satan my accuser who is waiting to hear me accuse God and His ‘unfair ways’; in front of my own heart that condemns and finds me guilty for all that I have done, am doing and will do – the living word that richly dwells within me shall arise and pierce through bone and marrow, shall separate soul and spirit; my spirit shall arise wearing the armor that Jesus has given and worship him with the gift of TRUTH that the Father has given.
God the Father, Son and Spirit, the Blessed Trinity, will work for my good at that moment(now and then). For I love God and He loves me. So in that moment(now and then) when all of creation watches, I will worship Him in spirit and truth.(I’ve always wondered about this thing – worshiping God in spirit and truth, wondered if I was ‘doing it the right way’ and now He’s revealing how that’s done!)
And this is my tribute to the beautiful one who makes all things beautiful in His time.
I am God’s beloved daughter and He is well-pleased with me. And this is the unshakeable truth. I am good, pure, holy, blameless and spotless. For Jesus has sanctified me and I am made righteous by His righteousness. If God is for me, who can be against me. What can separate me from His love? What can I say when He finds me ‘altogether lovely?’ I can only humbly accept it and say thank you for loving me. (And that’s the divine mystery reminds the Holy Spirit right now.Wow, yesterday’s truth was just a teaser! Now He’s building line upon line, precept upon precept, brick upon brick, layer upon layer. It’s just awesome! This relationship with God. Everyone should experience this on earth.)
Your love, God, is my song, and I’ll sing it!
I’m forever telling everyone how faithful you are.
I’ll never quit telling the story of your love—
how you built the cosmos
and guaranteed everything in it.
Your love has always been our lives’ foundation,
your fidelity has been the roof over our world.
Psalm 89:1-3 (The Message Bible)
And I find Him spotless, blameless, and altogether lovely. God is good and He’s always been good to me. I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.
