Have you been rebuking, resisting and wrestling with the enemy for a long time?

It’s time to change your strategy.

Lessons from Jehoshaphat – spiritual warfare:

You don’t have to fight the enemy. The Lord will fight for you.

What should you do?

Praise and thank Him.

Don’t try to rebuke, resist, and wrestle with the enemy forever. It will only wear you out. For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood but against principalities and powers.

You don’t have to engage with Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir. You only have to fix your eyes on God.

God will strengthen you with His word, reveal the enemy’s plans and also give you the strategy to defeat the enemy. That’s what He did when He heard Jehoshaphat and the children of Israel.

He sent His word through the prophet and they trusted God.

Fix your eyes on Jesus and His finished work that declares and decrees the destruction of the plans of the enemy.

‘It is finished.’

“Praise and give thanks to the Lord, for His mercy and lovingkindness endure forever.”

Enemies Destroy Themselves

20 So they got up early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe and trust in the Lord your God and you will be established (secure). Believe and trust in His prophets and succeed.”

21 When he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who sang to the Lord and those who praised Him in their holy (priestly) attire, as they went out before the army and said, “Praise and give thanks to the Lord, for His mercy and lovingkindness endure forever.”

22 When they began singing and praising, the Lord set ambushes against the sons of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; so they were struck down [in defeat].

23 For the sons of Ammon and Moab [suspecting betrayal] rose up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir, completely destroying them; and when they had finished with the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another.
