blossom

Not a single word…

… you know with all your hearts and souls that not a single word of all of the good things that the LORD your God spoke about you has failed to happen. Everything has been fulfilled about you—not one of them has failed. Joshua 23:14

I think that’s the word for the season – Blossom!

When I was writing a note to someone I sensed this word and I sent it to them. Before sending it I wondered if I should replace it with ‘grow,’ but finally decided to stick with the word ‘blossom.’

And then something absolutely amazing happened and I knew why God had wanted me to put that word in that message.

Things that I learnt from this tiny little incident is this:

With one word, He can shift your entire perspective about the other person. He’ll give you the eyes to see people from His perspective. And then when you pray, you can always pray with a constant expectation of hope. You will be filled with the perfect peace of God because you know that God is faithful and He will fulfill what He has promised.

So, trust the word that you sense in the spirit. Trust the still small voice in your heart. He trusts you and you just need to take a risk and give the word away.

The story doesn’t end there.

I received a word from someone a couple of days ago and God sent the same word to me! This time I knew it was for a close relative of mine. How do I know that? Simple. The Giver of Gifts added more goodies to this word. He spoke about the buttercup and its colour. The colour is significant because it’s that person’s favorite colour!

This is how God says, ‘I’ve heard your requests, don’t worry about them. Now continue to pray with this new picture in your mind. All is well. :)’

So dear reader, I bless you with these words from Isaiah.

The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. Is 35:1
