Just Journaling:

Verse of the day: Morning
Psalm 27
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?

One thing I desired of the Lord,
That will I seek after
That I will dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life.
To behold the beauty of the Lord
And to inquire in His temple.

Matt 26: Evening!
Then said He unto them, My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even unto death. Tarry you here, same watch with me.

And He went a little farther, and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as you will.

Just now I asked Him to open my eyes to see the suffering of His soul.
But when pen touched paper, He said, ‘I give you my Spirit of Joy.’

How can we forget that.
The Joy of the Lord is our strength.
He does not send us into battle without filling us with His peace and joy.

So while you are meditating on the cross, may grace and peace be multiplied to you.
May your eyes be opened to see what He saw – the joy that was set before Him while He endured the cross.

Song in my head:
Who is like him Lion and the Lamb?

O isn’t He the Lion and the Lamb?
Isn’t He the last Adam and the Eagle that flutters Her young
Isn’t He the Rose of Sharon
The Lily of the valley
The balm of Gilead
And the cedars of Lebanon
Joy and delight
The author of tongues
Now I find Him switching over to Tamizh!

Psalm 27 and Matt 26: 38-46
