I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

Can you? Really?

It’s easy to quote the verse, very hard to step out of the comfort zone and get into Goliath’s field.

What will you do when the unexpected moment manifests?
You believe that your hour hasn’t come. But the need searches and finds you. For the need knows that no one can supply what God alone can provide. It’s not looking for you, it’s looking for Christ in you, the hope of glory.

That’s the time to pay attention to the still small voice that is paving the way for God’s manifestation on earth.

My son, listen to the voice of your mother!

The Holy Spirit speaks of your eternal destiny. She is birthing you into the new thing with love.

Where there is lack, God will show up as the Shepherd.

You just need to respond to the voice and speak the word that turns the water into wine.

Let the sons taste the new wine, let them be drunk in the spirit. Let them see the exceedingly abundant love that God has prepared for them before the foundation of the world.

So, when the Holy Spirit calls you, arise and shine.

You might think, ‘Woman, what have I do with you? What have I do in this matter? How can I solve it? Am I my brother’s keeper? It’s their problem. They should have been wise enough to arrange for the back up. Why should I be the one to handle their problem?’

Instead of thinking such thoughts that conform to the patterns of this world, think godly thoughts.

When the islanders saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another, “Surely this man is a murderer. Although he was saved from the sea, Justice has not allowed him to live.” But Paul shook the creature off into the fire and suffered no ill effects.

People who don’t know God can’t look for godly solutions. Since you have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside, you have the power to provide godly solutions. This can happen at your workplace, home or even while travelling on the metro.

You don’t have to be a spiritual superstar to do that. You just need to know that God is well able to work through you.

So when the unexpected happens, turn to God, draw water from His wells of salvation and then feed the thirsty.

Let them drink and be refreshed.
Let His word proceed from your mouth and bring life to their souls.

Do not be afraid of speaking what the Lord has put inside your heart.
For the Holy Spirit has already gone ahead of you and prepared their hearts to receive your life giving word.

‘His mother said unto the servants, whatsoever He says unto you, do it.’

So they are waiting.
People around you are waiting for the ‘holy, set apart, unique, godly, unthinkable, miraculous solutions’ from God.

Be the voice that releases God’s love upon the earth. Don’t be afraid of praying for the sick or raising the dead.

Finally, how did Jesus do it? How did He change His mind?
He remembered the miracle that happened through Elisha. The oil didn’t cease till all the vessels were filled to the brim. God solved the widow’s financial crisis. 2 Kings 4

The Son knows what is available to him at any given moment.

“Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me,” John 11:41-42

Likewise, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

And Jesus has blessed us by saying, my children shall do greater things than this.

So go on and do what you see the Father doing.
Do not be overwhelmed by the task.

When the unexpected moment finds you, may the spirit of the Lord lift you up to soak in His love and out of that love, may you birth the life giving word.

For man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

And what is the outcome of such unexpected encounters with God?

‘Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you.’ Zech 8:23

Sons and daughters come back to their eternal dwelling place.

The heart of God.
