A chatbot explains it well.

Prayer is not a complicated process.

You enter into God’s presence to share what’s on your mind and you leave with what’s on His mind.

You transfer your thoughts and He transfers His thoughts.

Come to me all who labor, I will give you rest.

Most people who have stepped away from rituals know how to step into the closet, shut the door behind them and give their petitions to God. But many step out with a nagging doubt.

Did God really hear my prayer? How can I be sure?

If you let that thought linger, you’d find yourself wading into the net of deception laid out by the enemy.

Soon your prayers would turn into worries and you’d waste away trying to please a God who doesn’t care enough to break the silence.

But that is not how the Kingdom of God works. What can it be compared it to? Chatbots on the internet in 2018.

Message Received!

If a chatbot can give you an instant reply, how can you expect anything less from God?

The One who created you knows the word that’s yet to be uttered.

So do not despair when you walk out of the closet.

Know that you’ve been heard.

Know that He’s got the message and He’s working on it.

And while you are waiting, may you hear the angels sing,

Joy to the world, the Savior is here.
Let earth receive her King.

The shepherds had to carry this song till they would hear the glorious song of resurrection invading the earth on Easter morn.

So, continue to trust God, His ways, His heart, thoughts and plans. Carry His song as you go about doing good. All things work together for those who love God.

Why? Because He loves you and therefore all things will be shaped by His love.

Enjoy your Sunday. Rest in His glorious presence.  🙂

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him,
that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask,
we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
1 John 5:14,15
